xFractal for iPhone, iPad and Mac ยท Last updated October 1, 2026
xFractal does not collect, store or share any personal data. There are no accounts, no analytics, no advertising and no tracking.
xFractal saves the fractal you are viewing and your recent exploration history (used by Replay) on your device, so it can pick up where you left off. This data never leaves your device and is deleted when you delete the app.
The iPhone and iPad app makes no network connections.
The Mac version downloaded from GitHub checks for updates by fetching a small file from jean-bovet.github.io, which sends only the standard request information any web request includes (such as your IP address and the app version). No system profile or personal information is sent. Copies of xFractal from the App Store are updated by the App Store instead.
